Welcome to the Renewables not Gas campaign hub - where you can start or join a grassroots campaign to urge your Council to upgrade from gas to renewables.

Local governments in Victoria and NSW have shown inspiring leadership in reducing climate pollution from burning gas, protecting communities. The City of Canterbury Bankstown is taking steps to stop new gas connections. And the City of Moreland has committed to phase out gas in all Council buildings.

Will you make your local area a better, healthier place? Will you tell your Council that you want them to:
• Ban new gas connections across the municipality,
• Phase out gas in all Council infrastructure, and
• Write to the state Energy Minister calling for a fast track out of gas use and into renewables
