  • Morrison: Stop MPs spreading dangerous misinformation
It's finally happened! Craig Kelly MP has been formally called out by the Prime Minister for spreading dangerous misinformation about coronavirus. After a 30-minute scolding on 3/2/21, Kelly conceded: "I had a meeting with the prime minister... I agreed to support the government's vaccine rollout which has been endorsed by medical experts. I believe that the spread of misinformation can damage the success of our public health response during the pandemic". On top of that, Kelly could soon be out of a job — with reports that Morrison is now unlikely to save Kelly from a preselection threat ahead of the next federal election! Here's how Emilie's feeling: "This is such great news! Craig Kelly finally being pulled into line sends a message to healthcare workers like me that we matter. A big thank you to everyone who supported my petition. I was blown away by the support. And it worked!"

  • Don't deport Aussie born Ari and her mum Eunsil Park next week
Just days before Eunsil's scheduled deportation, Australia's Immigration Minister reversed his decision and announced her application for permanent residency under consideration. This wonderful outcome is in part thanks to the tireless CommunityRun campaign run by family friend Julie who launched a CommunityRun campaign to put pressure on the Minister. In Julie's words: "It goes to show that taking action through petitions and showing support for something we believe in is really important and worthwhile". Congratulations to Julie and the entire family!

  • Bus: Lindfield Learning Village; Chatswood West
Until March 2021 kids in Chatswood West were in area for Chatswood Highschool - 20 min walk away. Now our local school is the Lindfield Learning Village. Two bus rides and a walk taking at least an hour, if you don’t miss your connection. Transport for NSW have suggested a walking path through the bush. This is not safe or practical with laptops and musical instruments. We’re excited to go to LLV, but we’d like to get there in under half an hour with a direct bus route. Given the school boundary changes were outside of our control and only announced at the last minute, we request a bus route for our kids that makes the school run quick, direct and safe.
