Two handy hints before you get started:

1. What exactly are you hoping to achieve? Your goal should be clear, concrete, and winnable. Instead of campaigning to “Stop people littering”, choose a more local, specific, and solution-oriented goal like “Add more rubbish bins to Bayside Foreshore”.

2. Who has the most power to create change on your issue? Be as specific as you can. It could be your local council, your state or federal MP, or the manager of a local business, just to name a few.
