less food going to landfill

I want your stores to stop throwing a huge amount of all the perfectly good unsold products at the end of each day into dumpster bins.
I acknowledge that you do donate some unsold food to organisations but you should and could be doing this much more - seven days a week for every store.

Why is this important?

There are many needy people and charities who would greatly appreciate being given this perfectly good food.
It is environmentally irresponsible to be unnecessarily adding such vast amounts to landfill.
