Provide health care for every citizen, equally, based on needs not wealth
Dear Honourable Malcolm Turnbull, MP,
It is with deep appreciation that I express my love for the country I live in however, with recent turmoil I am hearing the voices of people who want stability and a Government that demonstrates its faith in the people as a Democracy. It is time to uplift and support Australians before they completely lose faith in our health system which is slowly being torn apart.
A HEALTHY SOCIETY LEADS TO A HEALTHY ECONOMY AND INVESTING IN HEALTH HAS LONG TERM BENEFITS TO THE PEOPLE AND THE GOVERNMENT HOWEVER, ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE IS A HUMAN RIGHT NOT PRIVILEGE.
By providing HEALTHCARE for all you are not only uplifting our citizens now but you are promising our children, our future, that they can rise, live healthy, achieve and overcome adversity and stand together to help others.
At this point I ask that this be a priority made known in current and future Legislation: that Australians will have access to healthcare based on needs, not the ability to pay, and that a written response to this petition be made out to all Australian Citizens.
I know the pains of Health living with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease and how it strips you financially. It is time to look at what IS IMPORTANT before we lose the faith of the people. The French system does this and is the leading Healthcare system in the world. Australia can lead too.

Why is this important?
She was 23 years old, working long hours to pay the bills.In her prime she lost 30 pounds and was struck down with cancer. She could not afford the medication where she lived, as there were no subsidies in place and no health system to cover her as a citizen. She had curable cancer and if it weren't for the kindness of a stranger her destiny was death...
This is a true story..the woman went on to survive because one Doctor asked another Doctor to give her the medication she needed. What was her fate otherwise. Death.
If you believe it is time to make Australia a leading country that provides health care to all people regardless of their wealth, race or location SIGN THIS PETITION!
We have the ability, as a Democracy, to ask for written legislation that guarantees this healthcare for our children. IT IS A PRIORITY...
