Utilize this government-owned land for disabled housing

I’ve written to the Minister for Housing and Public Works, Mick de Brenni, requesting that this government-owned land (empty ‘car park’), that sits behind the Gold Coast Private Hospital, and in front of the former Commonwealth Games Village, cnr Frazer Street and Innovation Blvd., Southport, be used to quickly develop affordable housing for the disabled; with lifts wide enough for mobility scooters and underground wide-disabled parking spaces.

Why is this important?

This would aid those who are on the Very High Needs waitlist for public housing, and may also need ongoing medical treatment at the nearby public Gold Coast University Hospital; also within short reach of two tram stations.
