Power for Broome

What we need for Broome are power generating and storage facilities to take advantage of the solar and wind energy readily available in our region.

Most of our citizens would be pleased to contribute, installing solar panels on our roofs if we had the incentives to do so.

The most economical and safe solution would be a central energy storage facility of adequate capacity. That would be a worthwhile customer experience centre.

Why is this important?

The recent Horizon presentation offered nothing to our general population besides tea and scones at the yet to be completed customer experience centre.

We need environmentally friendly power generation to reduce our carbon footprint for the future of our children, our Nation and our World. Let’s activate the local, State and Federal Government bodies to encourage Horizon Power to get the job done.
