Revitalise Yass
There have been many posts on social media regarding the lack of repairs and maintenance to the infrastructure in the Yass Valley. The people of Yass want Council to take action!
Why is this important?
The proximity of Yass results in tourists and tree-changers. Our town is tired and falling apart and hardly seems capable of facilitating further development when the infrastructure is falling into disrepair.
How it will be delivered
Comur Street Yass is a great starting point. A few ideas so far:
Paint seating
Repair roundabouts
Maintain public spaces and amenities
Ensure presentable shopfronts (possibly by assisting with grant funding for owners)
There are so many things to do, but let's just make a start!
