Brisbane wants a Clean Recovery now!

2020 has been a rough year for Brisbane. Bushfires choked our summer and now a global pandemic has left one in four Australians without reliable work. In Brisbane alone, 9,889 people are on Job Seeker.

We need a recovery that sets course for a bright future, creating jobs, boosting our economy and protecting our planet.

To get there, we need MPs inside the Liberal Party Room, like our MP Trevor Evans, to speak out and champion a Clean Recovery. As the member for a marginal electorate, Evans knows he must listen to his constituents or risk losing his seat.

We need Evans to back the Clean Recovery plan to:

⚡️ Make Australia a clean energy superpower
☀️ Repower businesses and households with solar
🏫 Upgrade public buildings and homes to be more energy efficient
🚗 Charge Australia’s electric vehicle future.
🌳 Create jobs in landscape management and rehabilitation

Why is this important?

Here in Brisbane, we have so many opportunities to create jobs in work caring for our planet, while making our lives more affordable.

We can stay cooler in Brisbane's sweltering summers and save on air-conditioning bills by retrofitting homes to be more energy efficient. We can harness our sun to power our businesses and homes with cheap solar energy. And we can create jobs restoring the green spaces we love, like the Kedron Brook or Enoggera Creek.

Brisbane, if we work together to get the recovery right, we have a bright future ahead.

How it will be delivered
