Up to 100,000 Australians remain stranded abroad, abandoned by the Morrison government during an international pandemic. The introduction of flight caps has made it impossible for stranded Aussies to return home as flights are cancelled one after another, month after month, almost one year since the pandemic hit. Many Aussie expats are stuck overseas illegally, jobless, homeless, broke and desperate to get back to Australia and unable to do so due to the implications from the flight caps. Expats and long term travellers were told to 'take one for the team' and let the desperate travellers get home, only to know be hung out to dry, totally abandoned by Scott Morrison and his empty promises. The only way they can get home is if Scott Morrison and his government stop the fear-mongering, steps up with an effective COVID safe strategy and removes the flight caps now. Our Aussie mates need to return to the safety of their homeland and they have the right to do so. No one's asking for handouts or free flights - they're asking for the right to return home. I was a nurse on a Covid screening ward in Melbourne last year. I saw my colleagues get Covid. And people died on our ward without having all of their family present. It's a real slap in the face that Scott Morrison isn't holding MPs to account when they spread disinformation. It lets down healthcare workers, and people who've lost family and friends to Covid. Liberal MP Craig Kelly is peddling dangerous misinformation that threatens public safety. He’s been promoting unproven “treatments” for coronavirus, encouraging his Facebook followers to use drugs medical experts say do not work, and compared wearing masks to child abuse. The Australian Medical Association has called it “torching the foundations of community health” and has urged the government to crack down hard on MPs spreading misinformation. But so far, Morrison has refused to criticise and correct Kelly's comments — even though three in four people in Australia want him to do so. On top of that, Deputy PM Michael McCormack has defended Kelly by saying “facts are sometimes contentious”. Morrison might be reluctant to pull his MPs into line, but as our Prime Minister he needs to enforce ZERO TOLERANCE for MPs eroding public trust in the advice of health experts. Especially in the midst of a deadly global pandemic. Luckily, Morrison can be pressured on this issue. He’s very protective of his reputation when it comes to his handling of coronavirus and a huge show of public outrage could force him to come out hard. After last summer's bush-fires, we have lost so much of our native fauna and flora and many of the animals affected by the bush-fires are on the brink of extinction. We are now in a climate emergency and we cannot lose any more of our native forests, which are important carbon sinks. We cant sit around and do nothing, we need to stand up and fight for a living planet for everyone and every living creatures.

Wildlife is always on the move for food, breeding and nesting sites. Since last years bushfires there is major movement of wildlife back into the huge areas that were burnt and are now regrowing. The bridges will get them safely across small local roads as well as major highways.

Well over 1,000 Kidney Dialysis Home Patients are unable to move away from their home clunky machines for 5 hours, three days a week, unless they book for another one elsewhere. A Quanta SC + machine is portable, weighs 32 kg and is the size of a cash register. It is portable and fits in a car boot. Kidney home patients would have the freedom to move away from home at will. I would love to go camping after six years of deprivation so far.

When organic waste gets put into landfill, methane is released (a greenhouse gas 25 times more powerful than carbon dioxide). Furthermore, when this organic waste mixes with heavy metals in landfill, an acidic toxic sludge is created and can seep into the water table and jeopardise the already precious source. Unfortunately, we cannot deny or ignore the scientific data, climate change is apon us and we need to act to enable the quality of life for future generations. We have a responsibility to protect and honour the land, that has been looked after for thousands of years by the traditional custodians. I encourage and urge for immediate change.

Climate change needs to be addressed by all of us, including the Polly's, we all need much cleaner air to breathe!

For 25 years now I have tried to get councils to clean up our biggest asset the Georges River. Each flood erodes more of the sandy banks due to urban spread & its diversion of run off water to the creek system that feeds the river. Trees that have been long standing face the risk of falling into the river on the next major flood & noxious weeds supplies a home for ever growing mosquito population.

It has been several months since our ferry service was suddenly stopped with no explanation & no community consultation. We are being told that there are several explanations/reasons for this occurring, none of which ring true. Dockside was a very heavily used stop and the only one I can walk to because of mobility issues. We have seen no works happening at the Dockside Ferry stop & have been given no timeline for the completion of these works. The interim KittyKat ferries are noisy, hot and small. We have approached our local government representative Jonathan Sri (Gabba Ward) but he has also had little luck in getting real information out of the BCC. This is not good enough!
